I suppose you'd call Hugh Cornwell's album, Hooverdam, classic rock.
Well, that's what I'd call it. After all, he was the lead singer of The Stranglers back in the 70's.
Speaking to CMU Music News, Hugh said the album was inspired by the big ol' dam of the same name in Nevada, "the greatest engineering achievement by mankind on this planet". Apparently the concrete it's made of is still drying out today, and part of the cooling process involved a fridge the size of a football pitch. Imagine how much beer you could store in that.
