Free Music - Rhode Island album

Last Saturday Rhode Island put out a new EP called Suits. At five tracks of less than three minutes each it's their shortest release to date, and takes less than fifteen minutes to listen through. You won't find any epic pieces like Head For The Border or Big Two-Hearted River on this EP, just simple yet effective tracks that don't try to be anything more than they need to. The reason for this, as the band wrote on their website, is that they wanted to produce some songs that would suit live shows more than a lot of their previous songs have done. While you're at their website you can grab a download of their previous EPs and their first full length album Landmarks, Junctions, Etc, released a few months ago. Free Music - Mixtape for Lounge On The Farm festival

Kent-based summer festival Lounge On The Farm is coming up (11th-13th July), and to help promote themselves and give attendees a taste of what they're in for they've released an online mixtape featuring fifteen bands that will be playing at the festival.
